‘Two Projects, two very different styles created by one design team – originally a bonded warehouse in the 1820’s and now home to ely chq, this listed building has been given a remarkable makeover by John Duffy Design. With stunning vaulted cellars, and impressive atrium bar, the team at JDDG faced a monumental challenge in retaining the character and integrity of this listed building, whilst at the same time creating a relaxed, comfortable environment for our very discerning customers. Another, most important factor to this design, was obviously the functionality of this building for restaurant use. This is the first time we have had a contemporary space as a blank canvass for fit out; John Duffy Design created a unique and exciting environment for our clientele with a distinctly comtemporary twist.’
