Sustainability

The staff of JDDG and JDA recognise our individual and collective professional responsibility to conserve the living environment through minimizing or avoiding the risk of impact from our activities and designs. The aim of our sustainability policy is to operate and design in ways that are environmentally sustainable, economically feasible in an effort to protect the environment.

Design approach to sustainability:

  • Make efficient and environmentally responsible use of energy and resources.
  • Reflect environmental consideration in the choice of goods and services.
  • Minimise the impact of transport on the environment.
  • Staff are encouraged in the design of buildings and spaces to optimise the natural features and environmental advantages available and to design using these key features as a starting point.

Operational approach to sustainability:

  • A chain of managerial accountability which ensures that environmental management is prioritised.
  • To foster responsible behaviour among all our employees and raise awareness of the company’s environmental impact as a result of our daily activities.
