This project involved the fit-out of a new office unit of approximately 165 metres squared. The concept for the development was to provide individual ‘pod’ workspaces for Sole Traders who rather that operating out of their home, can rent a 1 person office unit, while sharing resources with a number of other sole traders, and maintaining the human contact by interacting with the others tenants as they wish. Using a double glazed partition system providing high acoustic rating, these own-door office spaces are fitted out to a high commercial specification. A strong graphic colour has been used to emphasise the commercial nature of the units, and a shared meeting room and kitchen are provided also.
