This private Medical Centre and penthouse apartment is located on an awkward road infill site, which had been used as a scrap yard for over 50 years. The site is in a key location on the Ranelagh Road, but was unsustainable in its current state, and tricky to develop due to site constraints. JDDG incorporated the stock redbrick of the area with bright white render, cedar and zinc cladding. To harmonies the building in terms of finishes with the neighbouring redbrick homes and metal roofed church rooftops in the area. but to reinstate the corner with Price’s Lane, framed with the existing stone archway.
