The Palace

Their most recent addition to the Bridge House Hotel comes in the form of a new nightclub, The Palace, set over 2 levels. The design intention was to excite the senses and arouse the customers curiosity about what else lay in within.

The lobby features a sweeping curved wall, behind which lies the cloakroom, and is finished in striking colourful patterned wallpaper which is somewhat retro chic in styling. The DJ box is finished with a perforated geometric patterned panel and is backlit with colour changing LED lighting. The external terrace which features sandstone pavers, planting and fixed timber benches backs onto the Tullamore River. On the opposite side of the terrace is an angled window which runs the length of the terrace and affords a tantalising vista of the club within. There are two bars on this level, both finished in a striking white which accentuates the colour changing lights within the space.

The walls throughout the second floor are finished with a scintillating palette of rich black and gold wallpaper featuring inset LED spots, textured relief panels offset from the walls with halo lighting that make the panels appear to levitate. The link between the terrace and the mirrored bar features a series of suspended richly coloured fins that form a skeletalesque tunnel through which you pass, on one side you have a series of low 2 seater sofas with views through the glass to the dance floor below.
