John Duffy Design Group were appointed to design the sensitive refit of this 1930’s hotel with an upgrade of the interior fabric, finishes and fittings to provide a truly unique hotel experience, restoring the ‘Phoenicia’ as the Grand Dame Hotel of Malta. The proposals involved upgrading of bedrooms and public areas including the redefining of the Palm Court Lounge, Phoenix Restaurant and Peagsus Brasserie.
