A large double height glass atrium awaits the entry of the hotel guests as they enter through a 5m high glass door. This bright and airy space is flanked on one side by a rich red sandstone structure from the early 18^th century and on the opposite side by a striking reception desk finished in a dark timber and contrasting stone counter. Sitting atop the decadent marble floor are a series of bespoke rugs and pockets of feature seats. The sense or space tranquility is accentuated by the soft colour palette that flows through the hotel with deliberate colour punctuations and strong artwork pieces. The various floors can be accessed using the feature marble and steel staircase, which rises and descends gracefully through four stories to the leisure centre and ballroom in the lower level.
