D’Chilli Shaker is an Indian restaurant designed and finished to exacting standards where the food connoisseur can enjoy the finest Indian cuisine whilst in an interior that removes itself from the preconceived Indian Restaurant stylisations. The interior pays subtle homage to the Indian theme in its selection of wall finishes that play on the Indian motifs, carpets that provide a level of comfort and enchantment whilst helping to provide a noise reduction in the bustling space. The colour palette draws inspiration from the cuisine and is suitably rich and decadent without being offensive. The bar counter and screens are a blend of rich walnut in an Escheresque pattern with polished stainless steel, whilst the bar area and waiting area are screened from the diners by a swirling cascading water feature that changes colour in a slow hypnotic cycle.
