The Interior of the newly extended function facility at Barberstown Castle takes advantage of the views to the castle building by incorporating window seats in the pre reception area.The colour palette used was muted to provide blank canvas for the rich colours of the antique wall-hung tapestries. The linear nature of the rooms provide a natural progression through the space this is defined further by the use of material and lighting to provide a distinction between the different spaces. The exposed fixture structure supporting the roof pays homage to the long history that is Barberstown Castle.
