Situated along the banks of the River Liffey, the Fitzsimons Hotel holds a prominent position within the Temple Bar area. Our client wanted to develop a roof top glazed pavilion in order to enhance the public experience of the Fitzsimons Hotel, being aware of very few opportunities for the general public to enjoy high level views of the Liffey and its surrounds.
It was our intention that the proposal will firstly harmonise the existing roof top profile to that of the rest of the block and reinforce the corner. It is also an objective to enhance the experience in the general area of Wellington Quay and the Temple Bar environs by making a room of exceptional quality and extraordinary position available to the general public to enjoy at their leisure.’
