This complete extension and redevelopment of an existing shop unit has resulted in a local supermarket extending to 640 square meters, providing for on-site food preparation, a deli-style servery, and extensive retail area for display of goods. A complicated build carried out through a series of phases, The Londis outlet brand itself was redeveloped by JDA as part of our brief, and the resulting unit takes a more designed approach to supermarket retail with highly polished surfaces and backlighting combining to highlight display areas. The shop front reflects this new style also, clad in polished cream limestone, surface mounted signage in stainless steel and with backlit frameless glazing.
