This house was a private commission for a 5 bedroom 750m² luxury residence offering uninterrupted views over the golf course and bay at Dunmore East in County Waterford. The contours and views of the sloping site allowed for a modern family home on different levels while still being sensitive to the local vernacular. A high quality of materials including locally sourced limestone and sandstone, natural slate, cedar and green oak envelop this modern take on a traditional gabled villa. Family, entertaining and formal spaces interlink through the floor levels both internally and externally to provide a comfortable multi-functional living experience, including a panoramic glazed pool house, terraced decking from each level and extensive landscaping throughout.
