Tower Development

Client:
Private
Stage:
Ongoing
Size:
83,000m²

Located on the edge of the M50 motorway this development forms a gateway to Dublin city. Rising to 35 storeys in height, this mixed use development acts as a flagship affording panoramic views across the County of Dublin. Designed as a beacon to mark this site, the design incorporates a curved profile to soften the edges, and the use of mirrored surfaces means that the tower blends into the skyline. Passive solar control to such a large tower is regulated by means of intelligent glazing systems in conjunction with a tensile brise soleil. The floor plates to the rear of the tower stop short of the glazed skin to form 5 storey passive air circulation zones increasing the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the building.
